The park is spread over an area of 430 sq km in the Golaghat and Nagoan districts of Assam and is home to one-horned Indian rhinoceros, elephants, wild Asiatic water buffalo, swamp deer, pine deer, gaur, sambar, Indian muntjac, hispid hare, wild boar, jungle cat, large Indian civet, Bengal fox, golden langur, Assamese macaque, gibbon and many more.
