Biography
On April 6, 1970, a daughter was born in a simple family of engineers Nikolai and Anna Bilyk. At that time, no one knew that the future of the Ukrainian stage had come into being.
Irina has been interested in music since childhood. Already at the age of five, she went dancing, and a year later she became a soloist in the children’s ensemble “Solnyshko”. The artist also has a younger brother Sergei.
In 1998, Bilyk entered the Glier State Musical College, which is not easy for a girl from an ordinary family. In parallel with her studies, Irina developed a pop career. So, the star graduated from the school being already popular and recognizable in Ukraine
Path to glory
Bilyk began to take her first steps toward success in the 1990s. Then she took part in the Chervona Ruta festival in the city of Chernivtsi. There, the singer met the future producer Yuri Nikitin (he was a member of the Ajax group).
Together with him, she created the Tsei Doshch Nadovgo group, with which she performed at the Slavianski Bazaar festival in 1992. The team became famous thanks to its beautiful voice and the appearance of Bilyk. In 1991, the group signed a contract with the agency “Rostislav Show” and a year later released their debut video “Lishe yours.” After that, the star went on a solo voyage.
In 1994, the singer gave her first Nova tour. The concert program strengthened the position of the star on the stage. Since then, she has been considered the most famous star in Ukraine. A year later, Bilyk had as many as three studio albums in his arsenal – “Kuvala zozulya”, “Nova” and “I’ll tell you”.

Irina’s first civil husband was musician and producer Yuri Nikitin. The artists lived together for 7 years and even after parting continued to work together.
In 1998, Bilyk’s heart was conquered by fashion model Andrey Overchuk. The lovers got married, and later played a modest wedding. After a while, their son Gleb was born. However, in the end, the couple decided to divorce.
But the marriage of the artist with the choreographer Dmitry Kolyadenko became, perhaps, the most striking and scandalous. The family life of the couple was accompanied by constant quarrels, and the separation was accompanied by scandalous details of family life, which Dmitry himself spoke about.
Over time, the ex-spouses stopped holding evil against each other and became friends. Many believe that the choreographer to this day does not breathe evenly towards his former lover.
