Artist Tayanna (Tayanna), real name Tatyana Reshetnyak, was born on September 29, 1984, in the Ukrainian city of Chernivtsi in the family of a signalman and a private entrepreneur.
At the age of 8, her parents sent her to a music school, where she learned to play the accordion. However, after studying there for a year, she dropped out.
At the age of 13, Tatyana decided to study vocals at first she sang in an ensemble, and later began to take individual lessons.
In an interview, TAYANNA is happy to share with the press how her career began:
“From the age of six, I knew that I would become a singer. True, my first acquaintance with professional music began unsuccessfully. My mother sent me to a music school to study the accordion. As soon as I took the instrument in my hands, I hated it, and the music at the same time. At thirteen, I started singing professionally.”
In 2001, 16-year-old Tanya was lucky enough to perform with her ensemble in front of Pope John Paul II.
One of the memorable events for the girl was a trip to Skadovsk to the Black Sea Games festival, where she took 3rd place.
Tatyana is not alone in the family, she has three more brothers. Two twins are now working as confectioners, and another brother is singer Misha Marvin.
“My childhood memories are clearly divided into “before” and “after” the birth of my brother, Misha. He is six years younger than me. At first, I was terribly jealous of his parents. Until that moment, all their attention belonged to me, and I was perfectly happy. In the early 90s, my mother began to travel to Poland, and my father went to work, I had to sit with my brother after school. That’s when I felt the responsibility. Later, I remember how my mother said that she would have twins, I burst into tears and said through tears: “Mom, I didn’t have a childhood!” After all, I perfectly understood that I was raising my brother, and now I would have to have two more. Later, I got used to being completely alone on the farm. She cooked, cleaned, washed, ironed, took the brothers to the kindergarten in the morning, then ran to school, from there to her vocal lessons, then took the twins from the kindergarten,
First steps to success
Despite the fact that music has become Tayanna’s whole life since the age of 13, she received her real vocation as an artist and singer in 2016.
In 2004, Tatyana Reshetnyak, with popular producer Dmitry Klimashenko, sang along with his solo projects.
Tatyana recalls how they met:
“It was a chance acquaintance on Khreshchatyk. I was walking with a friend, and a man turned to us: “Hi, girls, how are you?”. You see, I am a proud girl from the mountains, a Hutsulka, so I answered that everything is fine with us, and went on. But my friend poked me in the side with her elbow and whined: “What are you, it’s Klimashenko, let’s talk to him!”
“Dima hooked me with the fact that he knew the world of Ukrainian music well, it was interesting to talk with him on professional topics. We exchanged phone numbers and talked for a while, but after a couple of months he disappeared, and of course I didn’t look for him. ”

The performer worked for 4 years in the Bitter Chocolate group and left of her own free will, paying 50,000 standard units of compensation.
“Once Dimin’s friend suggested that he create a new girl group: “My money is your project.” And Dima finally transferred me from the category of “laborers” to the category of soloists. We created the Hot Chocolate group, I wrote the lyrics, Klimashenko wrote the music. The project turned out to be quite successful.”
The girl worked with Dmitry for 10 years.
“After ten years of working together (including four years in Hot Chocolate), at some point in my career and musical race, I asked myself: “Hey, what have you done for yourself? Why do you live at all?” There was no answer. And I decided to break up with Dima. And he, in turn, did not accept my decision and kicked me out of the group.
The talented singer twice took part in the vocal competition “Voice of the Country”. The first pancake, as they say, was lumpy, because none of the judges turned around. But for the second time, in 2015, fortune turned around for the singer and she not only made it to the final of the program, took second place, but also tried to record songs with the famous producer Potap.
As a student, Tatyana worked part-time at a recording studio, where she not only worked but also lived for 4 whole years.
Working with Alan Badoev: new projects
2017 was the most successful year for TAYANNA in her career. The album “Tri may Mene” was called by music critics “the best Ukrainian release of the year”, and the lead single “Skoda” broke into the TV and radio charts.
In 2017, Tayanna won the Breakthrough of the Year nomination at the most prestigious Ukrainian M1 Music Awards 2017.
The amazing voice of the artist welcomes her to the international project The Great Gatsby, where she performed the main vocal part of Immortal feeling. The performance was sold out in Kyiv, Odesa, Kharkiv, Dnipro, and Kazakhstan.

Since 2016, Tatyana Reshetnyak has become known in creative circles as TAYANNA.
In 2018, the singer took second place in the national selection of Eurovision with the song “Lelya”. The artist wrote this new hit in collaboration with Max Barsky, who is also Badoev’s ward.

“I made a very difficult, but conscious decision for myself. This year I will not participate in the National selection for Eurovision. I believe it will be better for everyone. Sometimes the universe won’t give you something, not because you don’t deserve it, but because you deserve something else. To confirm this, I feel that right now I must make this choice. I am sure that there will be artists who did not make it to the list of participants, but who need a ticket to Israel more than I do. And over time, I nevertheless realized that the main competition in the life of a creative person is competition with oneself. You can win it only on one condition – to be sincere with yourself and have the strength to make difficult decisions. I respect and love our entire team that believes in me and has been doing everything for us to achieve this ambitious goal all this time. But I say no. Enough”

And TAYANNA became one of the participants in the dance show “Dancing with the Stars”. Her partner is Igor Kuzmenko, and the audience really liked this couple.

“Our love for music and creativity at some point grew into real feelings for each other. I was eighteen years old, we worked side by side twenty-four hours a day. It is only natural that we became close. Dima is a gypsy, and they allow polygamy. With his wife Anika, we communicated well, one might say, we were friends. I respect her very much, I listened to her advice, including culinary ones. Anika is an incredibly wise woman, and she treated our union with Dima from the point of view of gypsy traditions. Now, when I am already in her years, I understand that she was still offended and unpleasant that her husband had another woman. But she never showed it. I recently called Anika and asked for forgiveness.”
However, Dmitry Klimashenko is not the father of Tatyana Reshetnyak’s son.
Daniel’s dad is a few years younger than singer TAYANNA:
“Yes, Yegor is eight years younger than me. He is a musician. We met when I was working at the Klimashenko studio. And when I returned from the Carpathians, rested and happy, we met again, we began an affair. We realized that we love each other and want a child. Egor was then eighteen.
