PREMENSTRUAL SYNDROME IS NOW CONSIDERED A DISEASE (1)

Every month, many women experience stomach pains, headaches, unexplained mood swings, and other unpleasant symptoms of PMSSuch changes in the female body require medical treatment, American scientists assure.

In addition to the above symptoms, women may be disturbed by other unpleasant signs of PMS – swelling and swelling of the mammary glands, an insatiable appetite, weight gain, and swelling. These symptoms should not be ignored, doctors say, because they are the result of an inflammatory process in the body and require treatment.

Specialists and the University of California came to the conclusion that premenstrual syndrome, by its nature, is nothing more than inflammation that needs to be treated with medication.

These conclusions were drawn from a study of 3,000 volunteers during PMS. It turned out that during this period, the concentration of C-reactive protein in the blood increases in all women. And this is the main sign of inflammation.

Experts recommend that women during the period of PMS give up all factors that can aggravate their course. And in case of manifestation of obvious symptoms, take anti-inflammatory drugs.
